Biography

Tanaya Ti'en & Matt Dyktynski
Tanaya's artistic journey took flight in the buzzing arts scene of late-’90s Melbourne, where she honed her skills in acting, performance, and human movement. Her creative spark soon led her to co-found the progressive rock band LaChambre, earning accolades from the Arts Victoria Music for the Future Program and the SBS Whatever Music Project. Never one to be confined by genre, Tanaya then launched electro-pop project, Tantrixx, which made a splash as a finalist in both the WAM Song of the Year and the Next Big Thing. Though she’s currently on hiatus from live performances, today Tanaya keeps her creative spark alive as a yoga teacher and therapist, and through her recent publications exploring the mind-body-heart connection.
Matt is a true creative chameleon, with a career as colourful as his personality. A NIDA graduate (class of ’92), Matt has left his mark on film, television, and theatre. His acting credits include standout roles in films like Japanese Story and Love and Other Catastrophes, and appearances on TV faves such as Offspring and Shockjock. On the comedy circuit, Matt’s quick wit has dazzled and thoroughly bamboozled audiences at the Edinburgh and Melbourne comedy festivals—leaving crowds laughing, gasping, and occasionally questioning their own sense of humour…and humanity. For nearly a decade, Matt was a household name in Perth as one of the much-loved hosts of Mix94.5’s breakfast radio show, “Pete (previously Clairsy), Matt & Kymba." There, he wooed listeners with his velvety voice and trademark mix of sharp wit and musical mischief—crafting songs and parodies with everyone from the Perth Symphony Orchestra to Aussie music legends like Guy Sebastian, Samantha Jade, and Rapper 360.
Together, Tanaya and Matt, joined by an inspiring team of creatives, are the driving force behind Silent Mind Media—a creative hub that brings a range of imaginative projects to life, including their rollicking comedy, “Funeral – The Musical.”
